ZISD, along with numerous schools throughout the state received an email a short time ago claiming to be a Russian terrorist. This email included threats to schools and students. However, Local/State/Federal Law Enforcement believe the threat to be non-credible and bogus.
The safety of our students is our priority. We will continue to work with law enforcement and monitor the situation and will make decisions based on information received from them.
We will continue our school day as normal.

This week is the Jingle Bell Jubilee here in Zavalla!!! We have 18 teams in the tournament and are excited to host all of them!! The Australia team is also playing this year in our tournament. On Tuesday, November 14th we will have our Thanksgiving Lunch!!! We will start pre-k through 2nd grade eating at 10:20 for them and their families and they will eat until 10:50.
